To promote a less competitive atmosphere, First Philadelphia Charter has a dress code that consists of a red, white and blue plaid uniform jumper for the girls with a white button down shirt and Peter Pan collar. The boys wear navy blue slacks, a white button down shirt with a uniform red, white and blue plaid tie and a red V-Neck sweater with the school name. The gym uniform for boys and girls is a navy blue sweat suit with school name or navy blue shorts and a gray T-shirt with the school name. The uniform and accompaniment pieces can be purchased at Flynn and O’Hara Uniforms.

They are open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 8:00PM, and on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM from August 1st until the second week of September.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
A student will always be neat, clean, and well groomed. All parts of the uniform must be clean, pressed, and in good repair.
Golf shirts, ties, jumpers, sweaters, gym uniforms, gray dress pants, blazers and patches must be purchased from Flynn & O’Hara.
Shirts, blouses, shorts, skorts, socks, belts and shoes may be purchased from other retailers
No shirts may be visible under the school shirts. This includes the neckline and arms.
No shorts, leggings or pants may be visible under the skort or jumper
All shirts and blouses are to be tucked in the pants or skorts
Pants are to be secured at the waist.
Clothing should fit the student and may not be oversized
The school patch must be affixed to the right breast of the blazer.
Students who do not wear the proper gym uniform will not participate in gym and will receive a failing grade for the day
Students may not wear any visible jewelry other than stud earrings or small hoops (less than 1 inch in diameter)
Students may not wear nail polish that is distracting, and nails must be neatly trimmed
